Design Plans and Regulations
Arnold Mammarella, Architecture + Consulting works closely with clients to develop thoughtful, clearly illustrated and carefully worded design guidelines, objective design standards, and zoning regulations. Design guidelines and objective design standards are tailored to each community’s unique circumstances and reflect collaboration with community representatives around identifying community issues and design objectives.
Document drafting, graphic support, community meeting facilitation, and consultation is offered to communities on the following projects:
• Single Family Residential Design Guidelines, including for hillside and high fire danger environments
• Multi-family and Infill Housing Design Guidelines and Objective Design Standards
• Zoning Studies (e.g., density studies, FAR usage, project type studies, etc.)
• Illustrations for public documents such as Zoning Manuals
Site development and neighborhood or district urban design plans address land use, development pattern and city form considerations for individual properties or neighborhoods. In traditional and emerging urban centers, Arnold Mammarella, Architecture + Consulting can assist a community or developer with pedestrian friendly neighborhood planning commonly associated with new urbanism and neo-traditional town planning advocates. Site development planning and feasibility studies for small or large properties are offered. In addition to doing plans from the start on a project, consulting services are also available to refine or rework plans for better design or to address community concerns or permitting problems.
